Who is Shanice B.?

Shanice B. life began on August 25, in Newark, New Jersey. Her first school experience was at the tender age of five, “when I started pre-school I was like every other child I cried when mommy left”. “Growing up I was a very active and opinionated child”. In middle school she played basketball, participated in school plays and she was one of her teachers all time favorite student.

Her performing Arts skills got her accepted in New Jersey’s Arts High School, where she majored in Performing Arts. Later on she would move to East Orange NJ and attend East Orange High School where she continued to excel in her Performance Arts classes. “I was always a B average student who sat in front of the class”. Like most teens in high school Shanice wanted more out of school so she transferred to The Bernie L. Edmonson Center where she studied and perform in African Dance, Debating, and of course Performing Arts, and within two years she graduated.

After she graduated she attended UMDNJ (University of Medicine & Dentistry in New Jersey) for a semester and received a certificate to be a nurse assistant. “I did that for 3 years and decided to try another field of work which I love very much”. Currently Shanice works as a management assistant at a non- profit organization. “I love my job because it gives me a chance to give back to my community. I work full time and model part time”.
Shanice’s background in Performing Arts would eventually turn into a passion for modeling. “My family and friends have always told me that I should model, it wasn't until summer 2006 when I was introduced to my first photo shoot and I've been shooting once a month since then”. “I've had more good experiences than bad but it’s all part of the game”. Her overall goal in modeling in to best the Shanice B there is. “I plan on working hard at my craft because it’s apart of me and what I do. “I enjoy modeling and with every photo shoot or event I make sure I have fun doing it. My advice to any aspiring models is to learn the business, ask questions and read before signing anything. Before you work with someone you owe it to yourself as well your career to do background work on them, so no one time is wasted”.

On her spare time she enjoys reading great books, shopping, decorating her home and relaxing with her family. “Thanks for getting to know Miss B. I hope each of you who read this learns something about me that you didn't know before”, with a career on the rise, there is no telling where you will see Shanice in the coming future, but we know it will be on the top.
